As an interpersonal, psychodynamically oriented psychologist, I am concerned about current difficulties that clients are encountering in their lives, but also what underlying problems might be contributing to the problem. My treatment approach is, thus, to provide accurate diagnosis and practical support to help clients resolve immediate problems, and comprehensive treatment to uncover longer term patterns that may be affecting client's relationships and life satisfaction. I believe that competent evaluation and personalized treatment planning saves time and money. With sensitivity and compassion, I help clients find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues.

I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client and discuss treatment options, because I believe that respectful, collaborative treatment builds resilience and personal growth. I place emphasis on the developmental aspects of problems, especially in working with children, where presenting issues can sometimes be accounted for by a number of different explanations. I work with each person, or family, to help them overcome their challenges, to build on their strengths and to identify and achieve life goals. Comprehensive and informed treatment ensures that each child, or adult, has the best possible chance to develop to their true potential.
